Description
The black StarTech.com front bay adapter converts a 3.5" bay into a memory card reader and an additional port. It is installed inside the computer and connects via an IDC interface, with power supplied through USB, so it does not need an external power source. It supports Plug and Play use, so the system recognises it without complicated configurations. It features LED activity and power indicators to see at a glance when it is working. It offers a data transfer rate of 480 Mbit/s and adds a USB 2.0 port to the front. The housing combines plastic and steel, and the unit measures 105 x 25 x 130 mm (width x height x depth), with a weight of 164 g. It has CE, FCC, RoHS and TAA certification. The package includes the screws and the user manual for assembly.
