Description
The StarTech.com 8U 2-post desktop rack is a free-standing open frame structure designed to place server equipment on a surface without the need for a closed cabinet. Its two-column design with square mounting holes accepts standard-format components and allows cable access from all sides. It is made of steel and comes in black, with dimensions of 504 x 410 x 292 mm (width x height x depth) that make it compact enough to place on a desk or shelf. It supports a maximum weight capacity of 50 kg, enough to house several rack-mounted devices. Its weight of 2.2 kg makes it easy to move or reposition when the workspace needs to be reorganised. The mounting kit includes screws and nuts to secure devices to the rack straight away.
