Description
The TP-Link Omada EAP623-Outdoor HD access point comes in white with dimensions of 280.4 x 56.8 x 106.5 mm, designed to deploy WiFi coverage outdoors. It operates in the 2.4 - 5 GHz frequency band and reaches a maximum data transfer speed of 1800 Mbit/s, split between 574 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 1201 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. It incorporates MIMO and Multi User MIMO to serve several clients at once, as well as BeamForming to direct the signal towards each device. Band steering and automatic channel selection, together with the automatic channel scanner, distribute clients between the two bands and choose the least congested frequency. It adds VLAN support, QoS quality of service, rate limiting and ATF connection fairness to prioritise critical traffic and distribute bandwidth fairly.
