Description
The TP-Link MC110CS media converter, in black, transforms the signal between a copper segment and a fibre optic segment. It has one RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port and one SC fibre optic connector, with a single channel for each type of link. It reaches a data transfer speed of 1000 Mbit/s and works with 100BASE-FX fibre technology, using a wavelength of 1310 nm. It can cover transfer distances of up to 20000 m, making it suitable for linking distant sections within the same installation. It is compatible with Cat3, Cat4, Cat5 and Cat5e cable types, and supports Auto MDI and MDI-X functions to simplify connection. It complies with the IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3x network standards, and includes power and speed LED indicators. The connection is wired and its dimensions are 94.5 x 27 x 73 mm (width x height x depth).
