The Toshiba P300 6 TB version is a 3.5-inch internal hard drive with a Serial ATA III interface, designed to expand the storage of a desktop PC. With a rotation speed of 5400 RPM and a 128 MB buffer, it offers a transfer rate of up to 6 Gbit/s and an average latency of 4.17 ms. It includes support for Native Command Queuing (NCQ) and Advanced Format, as well as a shock sensor that protects data against impacts; its noise level at idle is 24 dB and its mean time to failure reaches 600,000 hours. Power consumption remains at 4.46 W during read or write, dropping to 2.68 W at standby, with no hot-swap support, so installation requires shutting down the system.
