Description
StarTech.com silver PC fan mounting screws are designed to secure fans to the computer case during assembly or when replacing components. Each screw measures 6.4 mm wide and 12 mm deep, dimensions that fit the standard case fan holes and case threads. The pack contains 50 units, a quantity that allows several installations to be carried out or a spare set to be kept to hand for future builds. Their thread is designed to hold the fan firmly and prevent vibrations from loosening the fixing with use. The set weighs 54 g, which gives an idea of how compact the contents are and how little they add to the total weight of the computer. They are installed with a conventional screwdriver and are suitable for both new builds and repairs. A practical spare to keep in the workshop or in the tool bag.
