Description
The StarTech.com Ethernet network cable is a Cat5e category patch lead with male RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed to link equipment and provide earthing in home or office network installations. Its unshielded U/UTP construction combines 24 AWG stranded conductors with a round PVC jacket, and it supports an operating frequency of 350 MHz. It features protective boots on the connectors to prevent the tabs from snagging when passing through conduits or faceplates. It is a 15 m cable, sufficient to cover long distances within the same room or between floors. Its grey colour helps it blend in against light walls or alongside furniture, and the assembly weighs 520 g. Being Plug and Play compatible, it simply needs to be plugged in to start using it. It also holds RoHS and CE certifications.
