Description
Concentrate up to eight serial port devices in a single unit with this StarTech.com USB hub. The adapter offers 8 RS-232 ports with a USB 2.0 Type-B host interface, so you can centralise the connection of industrial peripherals from a single computer. Its steel housing and black colour are designed to integrate into demanding installations, and the unit measures 100 x 43.2 x 180 mm (width x height x depth) with a weight of 544 g. It features LED activity indicators so you can monitor the status of each link at a glance. USB power delivery is available, with an input voltage of 5 V and an input current of 0.25 A via a Type M plug. It is compatible with Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2016, as well as Linux and Windows XP Embedded.
