Description
Connect your USB Type-C equipped device to a DisplayPort monitor using this active adapter cable from StarTech.com, which also works in reverse. The 2 m cable bridges the distance between computer and screen, and its black construction measuring 220 x 12 x 2038 mm and weighing 77 g makes it manageable on any desk. As an active video converter, it incorporates the Chrontel CH7213C-BF and VIA Labs VL170 chipsets to manage the signal, with straight-format male USB Type-C and DisplayPort connectors at both ends. It supports DisplayPort 1.2 with HBR2, which translates into a bandwidth of 21600 MB/s and a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 Hz. It also offers compatibility with HDR and HDCP in versions 1.4 and 2.2, and supports up to 7.1 channels of audio. Its operation is Plug and Play, so you don't need complex installations to start using it.
