Description
The StarTech.com USB to Micro USB adapter cable is a 1 m cable with a data blocker, designed to charge a tablet or mobile phone without exposing the device's information. Its male USB A connector and male Micro-USB B connector are straight, so the cable sits well in the port without forcing its position. With a USB 2.0 version, it reaches a maximum data transfer speed of 480 Mbit/s for the traffic its circuitry allows. As for power, it delivers an output voltage of 5 V and a maximum output current of 2.4 A, with a power consumption of 12 W. The cable jacket is made of TPE thermoplastic elastomer, with mylar aluminium foil shielding and 32/22 AWG gauge conductors. The connector contacts are nickel-plated, and the assembly comes in black with a weight of 12.3 g. Being plug-and-play compatible, you just plug it in to start charging.
