Description

The StarTech.com PCI adapter card adds two RS-422 and RS-485 serial ports to your computer via a PCI/PCI-X host interface, with serial output and internal mounting. It features the SystemBase SB16C1052PCI chipset and achieves a transmission rate of 128 Kbit/s, with flow control support and 256 B FIFO memory. It allows the data bits to be configured as 5, 6, 7 or 8 and the stop bits as 1, 1.5 or 2, so it adapts to different communication configurations. It operates within an operating temperature range of -10 to 80 °C and supports a relative humidity of between 5 and 85%, while its storage temperature ranges from -20 to 100 °C. It is compatible with Windows 2000 Server, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012, and is CE, FCC and RoHS certified. Its dimensions are 15 x 45 x 120 mm (width x height x depth) and it weighs 58 g.
