Description
The StarTech.com Standalone Cloner and Eraser works as a hard drive and SATA SSD duplicator without the need to connect it to a computer. It copies and erases data in standalone mode, supports two simultaneous copies and reaches a transfer speed of 13 GB/min. It is compatible with SAS, SAS-2, SATA, Serial ATA II and Serial ATA III drives in 2.5 and 3.5 inch form factors. It features an LCD display and LED indicators that show the status of each operation, and its black steel housing withstands continuous use. The Xilinx SPARTAN-6 chipset manages the process, while the USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) interface allows connection to the host computer. It operates with an output voltage of 12 V, a power consumption of 90 W, an input current of 1.2 A and an output current of 7 A. It is CE, FCC, REACH and TAA certified, and its weight of 695 g makes it easy to place on the workbench.
