Description
The grey Mikrotik CRS317-1G-16S+RM managed switch is designed for 1U rack mounting thanks to its dimensions of 443 x 44 x 224 mm (width x height x depth). It incorporates 16 SFP+ slots with 10G support, ideal for linking equipment at high speed, and adds a copper Gigabit Ethernet port for management or connecting local devices. As an L3 layer switch, it allows traffic to be routed between networks without depending on an external router. Its administration is carried out via web and it also has an RJ-45 console port for configuring it directly, as well as a reset button that returns the device to its factory values. In the switching section it supports spanning tree protocols, storm transmission control, port mirroring and link aggregation, which helps keep the network stable and loop-free. It complies with the IEEE 802.1Q standard for working with VLANs.
