Description
The Lindy 34009 gender changer in grey allows two network cables with male RJ45 connectors to be joined. It is an adapter with two female RJ45 connectors, one at each end, which acts as an extender or splice between both sections. It is useful for linking UTP CAT6 cables when you need more length than a single patch cable offers. Its double female socket accepts the male of each cable and maintains link continuity without the need for tools. The compact format of the body makes it easy to carry in a tool bag or leave it connected at a fixed point in the installation. As it is a passive element, it requires no power supply or additional configuration. LINDY reference 34009 is integrated into structured cabling installations where a connection needs to be resolved quickly and neatly.
