Description
The Lindy 48061 network cable is a yellow patch cable with a 0.5 m cable, designed to link equipment within a network installation. It features two male RJ-45 connectors, one at each end, which fit into the usual ports on routers, switches, patch panels or network cards. As a Cat6 cable, it works with 10GBase-T cabling technology and reaches a frequency of 250 MHz, which allows it to support demanding data links without losing signal. Its U/UTP (UTP) construction keeps the assembly light and flexible, comfortable to run in cabinets and cable ducts. At only half a metre in length, it is useful for short connections between nearby devices, such as joining a switch to the wall outlet or linking a device to its network point. The yellow colour also helps to identify the patch cable within the set of cables and to distinguish it from other runs.
