Description
The LevelOne GVT-1001 media converter connects copper and fibre segments in Gigabit Ethernet networks. Its SFP connector links to fibre optic and the RJ-45 port supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T and 1000BASE-T technologies at a speed of 1000 Mbit/s. It features auto-negotiation and Auto MDI/MDI-X, as well as complying with the IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3z standards. It supports Jumbo frames of up to 10000 bytes, useful for large-volume transfers. Its LED indicators show activity and link, and the Plug and Play function simplifies start-up. It operates at an input voltage of 5 V and offers a mean time between failures of 100000 hours. It has an external yellow format measuring 23.3 x 18.5 x 79 mm (width x height x depth) and weighs 56 g, with cable connection.
