The Gigabyte Aorus RGB 256 GB SSD is an M.2 drive with a PCI Express 3.0 interface and four lanes, designed to be installed in a desktop PC or a laptop. It reaches a read speed of 3100 MB/s and a write speed of 1050 MB/s, with 180000 IOPS in 4 KB random read and 240000 IOPS in 4 KB random write. It uses 3D TLC memory and is compatible with NVMe version 1.3. It includes S.M.A.R.T. support and 256-bit AES encryption to protect data. Its power consumption is 2.2 W in read, 2.1 W in write and 0.05 W in standby, with a mean time between failures of 1800000 hours.
