The FRITZ!Box 7690 International from AVM is a white wireless router measuring 250 x 48 x 184 mm (width x height x depth) and weighing 657 g. It features Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) with dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and achieves a WLAN data transfer rate of up to 5760 Mbit/s. It is also compatible with the 802.11a, 802.11g, Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standards, so it adapts to different devices on the network. As for the WAN connection, it supports DSL via the RJ-45 port and also Ethernet WAN. For the local network it offers Ethernet at speeds of 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s and 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology, together with the IEEE 802.3bz standard. The Ethernet LAN interface is 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet. For fixed telephony it supports VDSL and ADSL2+, and includes a USB port. It also has dynamic DNS and automatic channel selection to manage the network conveniently.
