Description
The D-Link DGS-1520-52MP managed switch is a black L3 device that organises Gigabit Ethernet networks with 44 RJ-45 ports for basic switching, plus 4 2.5G Ethernet ports and 2 10G Ethernet copper ports to extend bandwidth where it is needed most. It incorporates 2 SFP+ slots to connect fibre optic modules and supports 10G, which makes it easy to link backbone sections at higher speed. Its management is carried out conveniently from the browser via web-based administration, and it includes VLAN support, link aggregation, flow control, spanning tree protocol, head-of-line blocking and auto MDI/MDI-X, functions that help to segment the network and avoid loops. The compatible copper ethernet cabling covers 10BASE-T, 100BASE-FX, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T. With dimensions of 441 x 44 x 308.5 mm (width x height x depth) and a weight of 4.8 kg, it comes in a 1U format suitable for rack mounting.
