Description
Connect SATA drives to a USB 3.1 A port with the StarTech.com adapter cable, a solution for expanding storage quickly. The USB 3.1 A male connector and the SATA 7+15 pin male connector, both with a straight form factor, allow you to link 2.5" drives of up to 2 TB. It reaches a data transfer speed of 10 Gbit/s thanks to its ASMedia ASM1351 chipset, which speeds up file access. It includes UASP and hot-swap support, so you can connect and disconnect the drive without turning off the computer. The USB port provides power to the drive, avoiding additional power sources. Its 0.5 m cable offers enough room to position the drive without pulling, and the black plastic casing protects the circuit. With dimensions of 45 x 8 x 515 mm and a weight of 39 g, it is manageable and easy to transport.
