Connect your equipment to a Gigabit Ethernet network using the StarTech.com USB to RJ45 adapter, which adds an Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) port through a USB host interface with wired connectivity technology. It reaches a maximum data transfer rate of 5000 Mbit/s and supports full duplex transmission, with a maximum operating range of 100 m. It incorporates the ASIX AX88179 chipset and complies with the IEEE 802.1Q, IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3az, IEEE 802.3i and IEEE 802.3u network standards. It offers support for 4000 Jumbo frames, VLAN tagging and IEEE Auto MDIX. It has LED activity and link indicators, and is compatible with Linux and ChromeOS. The adapter weighs 28 g, measures 26 x 16 x 67 mm (width x height x depth) and includes a 0.135 m cable.
