Description
The StarTech.com SFP transceiver module is a TX transceiver that connects wired network equipment via an SFP interface with an RJ-45 port, weighing 25 g and measuring 13.9 x 12.6 x 58.4 mm. It offers a maximum data transfer rate of 1000 Mbit/s and reaches a maximum transfer distance of 100 m. Its duplex system is full and it complies with the IEEE 802.3z network standard. The housing is aluminium and silver in colour, while Hot-Plug compatibility allows it to be inserted and removed with the equipment switched on. Its power consumption is 1.3 W and it has CE, FCC and UR certification, as well as RoHS compliance certificates. It supports an operating temperature range of 0 to 70 °C and an operating relative humidity range of 5 to 95%.
