Description
Connects 100 Mbit/s network segments with the StarTech.com IMC100MSFP media converter, which links Ethernet frames and optical fibre. It features an RJ-45 port and a fibre channel port with SFP connector, and works with 10Base-T and 100Base-TX input interfaces towards a 100Base-FX output. It supports multimode and singlemode fibre mode structure, and its duplex system is full. It supports 16000 Jumbo frames and follows the IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3x standards. Connectivity is wired and its aluminium housing, in black, features an IP30 protection code. It offers a mean time between failures of 500000 h and has CE and FCC certification. This media converter, weighing 81.4 g and measuring 36 x 50 x 59 mm (width x height x depth), integrates into network installations that combine copper and fibre.
