Description
The StarTech.com QSFP+ module is a silver optic transceiver designed for 40GbE links over multimode fibre. It works with 40GBASE technology and SR4 type, reaches a maximum transfer speed of 40,000 Mbit/s and emits at a wavelength of 850 nm. Its fibre optic connector is MPO and enables a maximum transfer distance of 400 m over multimode fibre cabling. It incorporates Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) to monitor link status and supports hot-swap, so you can install or remove it without switching off the equipment. It is designed as a Cisco-compatible alternative and compatible with the QSFP-40G-CSR4 product, and holds CE and RoHS certificates of conformity. Its dimensions are 122 x 8.5 x 18.6 mm (width x height x depth) and its weight is 37.5 g.
