Description
StarTech.com bulk Cat5e Ethernet network cable reel, designed for installations requiring long runs of structured cabling. It comes in black and offers a 304.9 m cable, enough to carry out the cabling of an entire floor or several outlets distributed throughout a building. The conductor is 24 AWG gauge and complies with the Cat5e category, with a working frequency of 350 MHz that covers the usual needs of Gigabit Ethernet networks. Its U/UTP construction, without individual or overall shielding, and its polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket make it a suitable option for horizontal cabling inside trays and conduits. It has a CMR rating, which qualifies it for installation inside walls and false ceilings. The reel weighs 8.9 kg, a detail to bear in mind for transport and handling during deployment.
