Internal adapter from 9 pin Male serial to 10 pin motherboard header that connects a motherboard serial port to an external device via an IDC host interface and a serial output. Its internal format is designed to be installed inside the computer, with a 0.229 m cable offering just the right length to reach from the rear panel to the corresponding connector.
