Description
2 m black Ethernet network cable with male RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed to link equipment with a stable wired connection. The StarTech.com STP Cat6a works with 10GBase-T technology and reaches a data transfer speed of 10000 Mbit/s at a frequency of 500 MHz. Its U/FTP (STP) shielded construction helps maintain signal integrity, while the stranded copper conductor and 25 AWG gauge complete the wiring. The connector contacts are gold-plated and the protective boot covers the snagless clips to reduce snagging when passing through conduits. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), so it can power compatible devices through the cable itself. The jacket is polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and the assembly weighs 86 g. It offers Plug and Play installation, with no additional configuration required.
