Description
The StarTech.com USB hub expands your equipment with 16 RS-232 serial ports, a solution designed to connect multiple devices simultaneously from a single USB 2.0 Type-B interface. Its data transfer rate reaches 480 Mbit/s, and the LED indicators let you check the status of each connection at a glance. The housing, made of steel and black in colour, protects the device in demanding installations, with dimensions of 120 x 45 x 430 mm and a weight of 1.55 kg. It includes a terminal block port and a DC power input plug, with an input voltage of 100 to 240 V that is converted into a 12 V output. The input current is 1.5 A and the output current is 3 A, with a maximum power consumption of 36 W and a type N plug. It is compatible with Linux and Windows XP Embedded, so it adapts to different working environments.
