Description
Connect network equipment with the StarTech.com Cat6a patch cord, a 10 m black cable that reaches 10000 Mbit/s and operates at a frequency of 500 MHz, making it suitable for 10GBase-T networks. Its S/UTP shielding protects the signal against interference in environments with high electromagnetic traffic, and the 26-gauge stranded copper conductor maintains the integrity of every transmission. This Ethernet cable supports PoE, so it can power network devices through the patch cord itself. The contacts of its RJ45 connectors are gold-plated, which helps preserve connection quality over time, and the protective boot on the connectors prevents the tabs from snagging when routing or removing the cable. The jacket is PVC and meets the CMG rating, suitable for installation in conduits. It is a Plug and Play product, ready to use as soon as it is unpacked, and its weight is 404 g.
