The 4 TB Samsung SSD in M.2 2280 format is a solid-state drive designed for desktop computers. Its PCI Express 4.0 interface and NVMe 2.0 compatibility allow it to reach read speeds of up to 7150 MB/s and write speeds of up to 6300 MB/s. The V-NAND TLC memory, together with figures of 850000 IOPS in random read and 1350000 IOPS in random write of 4 KB, make it a capable option for daily use and for demanding workloads. It incorporates hardware encryption with 256-bit AES algorithms, as well as S.M.A.R.T. and TRIM support to keep the drive in good condition. With dimensions of 80.2 x 22.1 x 2.38 mm and a weight of 9 g, it installs in the computer's M.2 slot without adding bulk.
