The Samsung 870 EVO 250 GB SSD is a solid state drive in 2.5" format with a Serial ATA III interface, designed for PC and laptop. Its V-NAND memory reaches read speeds of up to 560 MB/s and write speeds of up to 530 MB/s, with a data transfer rate of 6 Gbit/s. It incorporates hardware encryption with 256-bit AES algorithms, as well as S.M.A.R.T. and TRIM support to maintain performance over time. The DevSleep function reduces consumption when the device is not in use, with an average consumption of 2.2 W, 0.03 W on standby and 3.5 W maximum. Its TBW rating of 150 and a mean time between failures of 1500000 h support the reliability of the drive. It features a black colour and dimensions of 100 x 7 x 70 mm (width x height x depth), with a weight of 86 g.
