Description
The NETGEAR M4300-8X8F managed switch is an L3 layer device with 1U rack mounting, in black and weighing 3.32 kg. Its dimensions are 212 x 44 x 345 mm (width x height x depth), a compact depth for its category. It incorporates eight 10G Ethernet RJ-45 ports (100/1000/10000) and eight slots for SFP+ modules with fibre optic connector, allowing copper and fibre to be combined in the same chassis. For local management it has an RJ-45/Mini-USB console port and a USB 2.0 port, as well as web-based administration. It supports switching functions such as ARP inspection, quality of service (QoS), port mirroring, rate limiting and spanning tree protocol. Auto-negotiation, auto-sensing and Auto MDI/MDI-X simplify connecting devices. It is compatible with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat7 cables.
