Description
Connects devices with a serial port to a computer using the Lindy 42855 cable, which joins a USB type A connector and a DB-9 connector, both male and straight, in a 1.5 m cable. Its grey and transparent colour makes it easy to identify in installations with several cables, and its PL2303RA chipset handles the signal conversion. It offers a bandwidth of 128 Kbit/s for stable serial data transmissions. The plastic coating of the connectors protects the connection points against wear from repeated connections. It supports an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 °C and an operating relative humidity of 0 to 80 %. It has CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and REACH certification, and its weight is 70 g. It is a practical solution for connecting devices with a serial interface to an available USB port.
