Description
The LINDY 47136 network cable is a grey Cat6a cable, 5 m in length, designed to connect equipment with male RJ-45 connectors at both ends. Its S/FTP (S-STP) construction combines shielding in the cable and in the connector, with aluminium as the shielding material, which helps to reduce interference in transmission. The conductor is copper and the jacket uses halogen-free material (LSZH), a common option in installations where limiting smoke emission is sought. It reaches a frequency of 500 MHz with a nominal attenuation of 49.3 dB/100 m at that same frequency, and belongs to class Ea. The cable gauge is 27 AWG and it supports a minimum bend radius of 7.2 cm, a useful figure when routing the cable. It supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology, so it fits into Gigabit Ethernet networks. It features Plug and Play, so it is enough to plug in each end to start working.
