Description
Connect network devices with the Lindy 48390 cable, a Cat5e category cable with F/UTP (FTP) shielding that helps reduce interference in data transmission. Its two ends incorporate male RJ-45 connectors, so you can link equipment, outlets or patch panels without the need for adapters. The conductor is 26 AWG gauge and the assembly comes in grey, a discreet tone that goes unnoticed in visible installations. As it is a 0.5 m cable, it is suitable for short runs where it is not advisable to accumulate surplus metres, such as inside a rack or the connection between a patch cord and a switch. The Cat5e category is intended for standard Ethernet networks, and the shielding helps maintain signal integrity in environments with some electrical activity. The F/UTP format combines overall shielding with unshielded pairs, a balanced solution for structured cabling.
