Description
The Lindy 48017 network cable, in blue, is a Cat6 patch cable with U/UTP (UTP) shielding that connects equipment with an RJ-45 male connector at both ends. Its 1 m cable is suitable for linking nearby devices without accumulating surplus metres. The 24 AWG gauge conductor works with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology, so it supports Gigabit Ethernet networks in their patching runs. The RJ-45 male connectors fit into ports on routers, switches, patch panels and network outlets. As it is a Plug and Play cable, it is enough to plug it in to start transmitting data. Its blue sheath helps to identify the patch cable within the rack or the home cabling. It is presented as a practical network piece for home and office installations.
