Description
The Lindy 46374 fibre optic cable, in turquoise, is an OM3 multimode patch cable with male LC connectors at both ends. It is a 10 m cable designed to link equipment and switches in fibre optic and InfiniBand installations. Its multimode construction, with a 50 µm core and a 125 µm cladding, allows full duplex data transmission, that is, fully bidirectional. The 0.3 dB insertion loss helps maintain signal quality along the run. In addition, it is halogen-free, a relevant detail for installations where this criterion is required. The male LC connectors at both ends facilitate coupling to ports and modules compatible with this type of fibre. Due to its length and configuration, it is suitable for connecting equipment within the same rack or between nearby points in a network.
