The Kingston Technology A400 480 GB SSD is a black solid state drive designed to be fitted in a PC or a laptop. Its 2.5" form factor and its dimensions of 69.8 x 7 x 100.1 mm (width x height x depth) allow it to be installed in the usual bay of these computers, and its weight of 41 g makes it a lightweight component. The Serial ATA III interface allows it to reach a data transfer speed of 6 Gbit/s, with a read speed of 500 MB/s and a write speed of 450 MB/s. It uses TLC memory and offers resistance to shocks and vibrations, so that the drive withstands daily wear and tear well. Its mean time between failures is 1000000 h and its TBW rating reaches 160.
