The Kingston Technology KC600 is a 512 GB SSD with mSATA form factor, designed to give a new lease of life to desktop computers and laptops compatible with this connection. Its Serial ATA III interface reaches a data transfer speed of 6 Gbit/s and offers a read speed of 550 MB/s alongside a write speed of 520 MB/s. The 3D TLC memory and the SMI SM2259 controller complete the technical section, with a random read rating of 90000 IOPS and a random write rating of 80000 IOPS. It incorporates hardware encryption using 256-bit AES-XTS security algorithms and supports a mean time between failures of 1000000 h.
