HPE MR216i-o Gen11 storage controller with PCI Express 4.0 interface and a 16-lane configuration without cache, designed for servers requiring Serial ATA III disk management. It incorporates 8 GB of internal memory and supports up to 60 RAID levels, allowing multiple drives to be organised for performance or redundancy. Its OCP form factor and SPDM certification integrate it into enterprise environments compatible with the HPE Compute MR Controllers QuickSpecs specification. This cacheless model prioritises stability and predictable latency in workloads where data protection is delegated to the system controller.
