Description
Connect network equipment with the Hewlett Packard Enterprise QSFP+ fibre optic cable, an aluminium and black patch cord designed to link high-capacity ports in data centre environments. Its two QSFP+ connectors are male, so they plug directly into the corresponding ports of compatible switches and hubs without the need for adapters. The 3 m cable offers sufficient scope to connect nearby racks or equipment located at medium distance within the same room. It supports a data transfer rate of 100 Gbit/s, making it suitable for aggregating demanding traffic between switch and switch or between switch and server. The aluminium and black colour combination makes it easy to identify this patch cord compared with other cables in the installation. Its fibre optic construction allows short runs to be covered with high bandwidth.
