Description
The Ewent IM1217 network cable in grey comes as a 305 m cable reel designed for structured network cabling. Its construction complies with the Cat6 standard with U/UTP (UTP) shielding, allowing it to reach an operating frequency of 250 MHz and a data transfer speed of 1000 Mbit/s. The conductor is solid and made of copper-clad aluminium (CCA), with an AWG 23/1 gauge that provides consistency over long runs. The jacket, round in shape, uses halogen-free material (LSZH), a common choice in installations where the aim is to reduce smoke emission in the event of fire. As it does not incorporate connectors at either end, the cable is cut and crimped according to the needs of each run, allowing the exact length to be adapted at each point of the installation.
