Description
EQUIP network cable in blue and 5 m in length, designed to connect equipment within an Ethernet installation. Its Cat6a construction with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and 26/7 stranded conductors can handle a frequency of 500 MHz and reach the 10000 Mbit/s typical of 10GBase-T. It offers compatibility with 10 Gigabit Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet, as well as complying with the IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.5 standards. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), so it can power devices such as access points or cameras through the cabling itself. The two male connectors are straight type and are moulded onto a round cable, which reinforces the bond between the connector and the sheath. With a weight of 163 g and dimensions of 8.34 x 5000 x 11.7 mm, it is manageable both in cabinet installations and in trunking and boxes.
