Description
The EnGenius ECW220 is a white wireless access point measuring 160 x 33.2 x 160 mm and weighing 382 g. It offers a maximum data transfer rate of 1200 Mbit/s, with 574 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 1200 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. It operates on the 2.4 to 2.482 GHz frequency bands and on the various 5 GHz ranges, and supports MIMO and Multi User MIMO to manage several connections at once. It incorporates 16-QAM, 64-QAM, 256-QAM, 1024-QAM, BPSK, CCK and QPSK modulations, and combines the spread spectrum methods OFDMA, DSSS and OFDM. As for the network, it has Ethernet LAN at speeds of 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s, VLAN support with Tagged VLAN and QoS quality of service. Its transmission power is 20 dBmW and it adds Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM/WME). Fit AP mode adds mesh networking, and power is supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE), which simplifies ceiling or wall installation.
