Description
Datalogic CAB-362 data cable, 2 m, with 9-pin "D" female and RS-232 female connectors, for linking scanners to compatible equipment. Its 2 m length gives sufficient leeway to position the scanner and the terminal without the cable becoming taut. The 9-pin "D" connector fits the equipment's serial port, while the RS-232 end connects to the scanner. As it is a female/female cable, both ends have the same type of gender. It is compatible with Gryphon, Dragon, Lynx, Heron and Touch scanners, as well as with IBM PC or PC Clones and NCR type 7452 terminals. The 2 m cable format is useful when the distance between the scanner and the computer workstation does not allow a direct connection. It is a connection accessory designed to replace or complement the cabling of these scanners in point-of-sale and logistics environments.
