Description
The ASUS BW-16D1HT internal burner is a black Blu-Ray RW optical drive, designed for desktop computers and with both vertical and horizontal mounting. Its tray allows 80 and 120 mm diameter discs to be inserted, and it connects to the computer via a SATA interface. It burns DVD+R and DVD-R at 16x, DVD+RW at 8x, double-layer DVD-R at 8x and DVD-RAM at 5x, while with CDs it reaches 48x for CD-R and 24x for CD-RW. In Blu-Ray format, it writes BD-R at 16x, BD-RE at 2x and double-layer BD-RE at 2x. Its dimensions are 146 x 41 x 170 mm (width x height x depth) and its weight is 750 g, so it fits in a tower bay without adding barely any load. As an internal Blu-Ray RW type burner, it covers both reading and writing of optical discs in a desktop computer.
