Description
Connect the APPROX appHDD05 Grey enclosure to the USB port to read and write to a 2.5-inch SATA drive. It supports a single drive of up to 1 TB, making it useful for reusing the drive from an old laptop or for carrying data from one computer to another. It is powered through the USB itself, so it does not need an external power supply, and it works with Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP, 7 and 8, as well as being Plug and Play compatible. The transfer speed reaches 0.480 Gbit/s through its USB 2.0 port, and the LED indicator shows when it is in operation. Its synthetic ABS casing in grey measures 142 x 22 x 81 mm (width x height x depth) and weighs 133 g. It supports operating temperatures between -40 and 60 °C.
