Connect a DisplayPort output to a display with DVI-I input using this StarTech.com video adapter, an external passive converter with a male DisplayPort connector on one end and a female DVI-I connector on the other, both straight format. Its integrated 0.152 m cable and its dimensions of 42 x 17 x 254 mm (width x height x depth) give just the right reach to bridge the distance between the equipment and the monitor without straining the ports. Weighing 43 g, it is lightweight and easy to handle. The adapter works with DisplayPort 1.2 and offers a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels at 60 Hz, as well as compatibility with 480p, 720p and 1080p video modes. It includes HBR2 and HDCP version 1.4 support, so you can play protected content without a hitch. It is plug and play, with no additional installations or adjustments. All in black, a discreet tone that matches the rest of your equipment.
