Description
The StarTech.com SATA power adapter connects a power supply with a Molex output to a device requiring a SATA input. It features a 15-pin male SATA connector with straight output and a 4-pin female Molex LP4 connector angled to the left, so the cable can be oriented according to the space available inside the case. Its multicolour design makes it easy to identify each end during assembly. The cable measures 0.1524 m, a short length intended for tight internal runs, and the assembly weighs barely 15 g, so it adds no appreciable load to the system. It is CE certified and REACH compliant, as well as having a RoHS certificate of conformity, which supports its use in environments where regulatory compliance is required.
