Description
Connect two serial port devices to a computer with this StarTech.com USB adapter cable. The 2.1 m cable features a male USB 2.0 A connector and two right-angled male DB-9 connectors, with plastic coating, and its black colour makes it easy to integrate into any installation. Its FTDI FT2232D chipset and 480 MB/s bandwidth allow transmission speeds of up to 921.6 Kbit/s. Configure communication to suit your needs with 7 or 8 data bits, 1 or 2 stop bits and even, odd, mark, space or no parity. It offers Linux compatibility and supports COM port assignment with port retention. Its compact design, weighing 156 g, makes it practical to carry from one computer to another. It is a solution designed to connect serial peripherals to a USB port.
